Fall Equinox - 2016We are getting closer and closer to the first day of Fall Equinox. “Equinox” comes from the Latin words “equi” meaning “equal” and “nox” meaning “night.” This is a time to recognize the importance of balance in our lives and in nature. It is also a time to go within, going within is not always comforting or appealing, but we must always be willing to acknowledge that part of ourselves that is unpleasant just as we do that which is pleasant. We invite you to join us, as we celebrate autumnal equinox. We will honor the Crone or Dark Mother aspect of the triple Goddess. Bring a Goddess statue or something representing the dark mother to place on the altar, there will be time you to share your experience with whatever you bring. We will be on the covered porch. |
