A Fairy Summer Solstice

x

On Sunday, June 21st, the UUCFM will mark the summer solstice during the Sunday worship service beginning at 10:30am.  In honor of summer sun and summer solstice, bring mangoes, carrots, apricots, golden delicious apples, yellow frosted cupcakes, orange glazed doughnuts, or whatever delicious sun-shaped, sun-colored snack to you can to make our coffee hour more festive.

After the service, all can join in the fae (fairy)-themed summer solstice ritual with CUUPS, "Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans," replete with a bonfire and burning of the sun wheel we will create during the Sunday service!  Fun for all ages.

We will be gathering at the screen room at noon and will process to the fire pit. As we expect to be out in the full sun for approximately 30 minutes, please remember to bring sun hats, water, sunblock or protective clothes (closed toe shoes recommended). Also, bring drums, snacks for later, your wings and Fae attire to this wonderful Summer Celebration - Wheeee!

Location : The Lanai
